ICSI is a more advanced form of IVF. The doctors will actually inject the sperm into the egg. They will then watch the fertilized eggs to determine which cells split the best. Those will be chosen to be implanted back into the female. The medications, procedures, etc., are the same as in IVF. The only difference being that the doctors inject the sperm into the egg with ICSI; in IVF they allow the sperm and egg to join themselves.
