Wow........do you know that God also considers passing judgement onto another person as sin, and to God one sin is no more or less than another, once you have confessed and he has forgiven you. I am a Christian and although I do not believe we have the right to abort. I did not always hold these beliefs. Abortion is legal and many women choose abortion for their own reasons, I believe the abortion industry lies to women. I had an abortion over 20 years ago and I am 100% sure I am going to Heaven. I wasn't sure of that 7 years ago though. I was in bondage from the pain and sin of what my choice had done to me. I realised in my 2nd pregnancy... this would be my first live birth, that I had actually killed a living being. I had a 9 week ultrasound and saw a heartbeat. It was a devastating moment for me. The last time I saw a heartbeat the abortion clinic told me "the flicker was just a technical glitch" and all they were doing was removing some tissue that hadn't formed into anything yet. I was ignorant. I believed them. Maybe I wanted to believe them. The consequence of my sin that day is that I lost a precious child. Because of me, he will never know life beyond my womb. He will never know the love of a mother. I will never hold him, I have never told him how much I love him, and while God has forgiven me and promised me a place in Heaven he cannot take away the consequence of MY SIN.....but one day I will see my child and I will hold him....and God will rejoice when he can reunite us....This is my belief. I say thank goodness for this website... there is a non-judgemental place for women who realize what they did was wrong.....who suffer many years.....with guilt and pain of loss......to go and find peace, forgiveness and maybe Gods grace and not mans condemnation. Judge me as you please...... God is my one and only judge.....and he would rather have me as I am than not at all.....because as you quoted.....God will never Leave me or forsake me..

LOVING
If you read them with a loving and forgiving heart, you will see that the majority of these cards do not express support for the abortion itself but merely concern for the woman. If you have the opportunity to preach the gospel to a woman who has had an abortion will you pass it up because God wants her to go to hell? If you would invite such a sinner into your church why not send a card reminding her of God's love?

It remains true that for all who state that abortion is murder & that women should have to give birth once they are pregnant are the same ones who actively seek to prevent any access to birth control (to prevent the aforementioned pregnancy) and have nothing to do with the child, or the involuntary mother, once the child is born.
Maybe you have to visit the children in foster care who have been abused by parents who did not want them. Or maybe you haven't provide treatment for those children who end up with developmental delays due to the drugs that were consumed by their mother who was too high to follow up with her ob/GYN appointments. It could be that after trying to help women apply for welfare because now that a 2nd child is on the way, the minimum wage job with no health insurance she had won't cover rent & food without assistance, you may have a little more compassion for the choices that other women make.
If you don't want an abortion... don't have one. Pray for those who do. Raise money to pay for pre-natal care for women who don't have the funds to do so themselves & make it a crime for them to lose their jobs for taking off sick days to go to their appointments. Provide free or low cost birth control so other women do not feel they have to make that choice. Create a national free healthcare plan that will cover all the medical needs of a family so that there are resources to help parents care physically & financially for their children.
Until then, keep your sanctimonious, judgmental cards to yourself. Jesus never reminded those he forgave of their transgression. They didn't even ask for that forgiveness most of the time. Instead he provided food, wine, & healing to all who needed it. Why not try to follow his example?

Abortion is a terrible thing and I don't support it for any reasons but neither can I pass judgement on a woman who's had one. It isn't my place to tell them they're going to Hell. They need guidance and love to get through such an ordeal. God would never want me or you to be cruel to them or anyone human being for that matter.

You idiot! Interesting how the carey sharey god botherers in spite of having bucketloads of compassion for most things in this world, run tragically short of understanding on this topic. Some people go through hell on earth with issues just like the one you describe. Oh and another thing, when you grow up you might want to think about people who have to have a pregnancy terminated for medical reasons. Sure do love you!

Many women have good reasons for abortion. There could be medical difficulties, which may jeopordise her life. What if a bright young woman who could really make somethiong with her life got pregnant through rape? Keeping the rapist's baby could mess her whole life up. She didn't consent, she wasn't prepared for it.. It would be a constant reminder of the evil, selfish act of the B@$tard who used her. Ok, she could give it up for adoption, but is that really fair on her or the kid? Looks rubbish either way in that scenario.

Sure why not. Commiting a murder and legally getting away with it is an accomplishment, deserves a card. She may not talk to you anymore though...
