I tried to follow the series when I was young, but I just didn't understand anymore. then the other day I realised I never quite found out who did the foul deed. Was it indeed her dad while possessed by a demon?

Yes if I remember rightly is was her dad, not sure if it was an incest thing going on though or if he was just possessed (or quite simply a nutter), we never really found out, there was never really a definite answer!

I never understood the ending and all I remember was the vertically challenged person in the strange dream at the end but I still didn't know who murdered her. It was wierd but very watchable TV.

her dad wasn't the killer...
it was Arnold Palmer.
he was her golf instructor...
and because she sucked so
much, he killed her...
by running her over with a
golf cart.
