It's sounds like you are in a very uncomfortable and akward situation there, and I really feel for you. There is no easy answer for you. I am not 100% certain that reporting him would be the right thing. Not because he is right, but because your safety is the most important thing to consider. You must put a lot of thought into what you decide to do, and never put yourself in a situation where you are likely to get hurt. Are there safe people in your life? At school? Maybe the parent of a friend? A coach? Maybe a kid's helpline would be a good idea? Think hard and pick the person that you trust and feel like you can approach and talk to and then listen to their advice. It's not safe or wise for anyone here to advise you any further without knowing your father or your situation in detail. How can you not know what to do? You call the authorities on him. Father or not that is what has to be done. Just getting rid of your animals will not stop him from abusing others he comes across. I have to say unfortunately from experience the authorities don't always care either. I just tried to get something done about a guy who drove a pitchfork through my ex-husbands two dogs until death occured and got no results even though the guys kid told the cops he did it as well. I called the state police, aspca,humane society,local news and nothing has been done. Hopefully this is just my area where no one cares and someone will attend to this when you call. You may need to be careful if your father finds out you are the one who called he may beat you. I would still call, I would not be able to put my fears first, I would worry about these animals. What the hell kind of man is this? Does he beat your mother? Call someone now!

He's your dad so I know your in a tough spot. Give me his name number and address I'll report him or show up myself and make him smell of mud and gas. But seriously you need to come to the decission to stay away from pets till your on your own or your dad will only continue to abuse animals and limit your enjoyment of the pet, and if this is dogs sooner or later someone is getting bit.

Your problem is bigger than your pets. Why aren't you on his list? You think you are not? Pal, I believe you and any children in the household are in jeopardy from a person like this. You need some friendly adults to stand up for you. I would bet that young teachers would be best. I say young because they were your age not so long ago and can relate to your world. Tell them you "have a friend with a problem and he could use some advice". They will give you some straight advice. Don't allow yourself or any other kids in the house to get hurt, OK?

ummmmmmmm.... you need to report him to the athorites. obviously he has some serious mental problems to inflict physical pain on anything living. You should definetly not have pets cuz if they are jus gonna be abused then they would be better off just dead. I say either get rid of your dad and get him serious help or get rid of the animals so they can have a loving home where they dont have to be abused. That is just totaly wrong!!!!!!!

Give your pets to an animal shelter or file a cruelty case against your dad. Abusing animals is illegal and it needs to be dealt with immediately. IN the meantime, put your pets in the kennel or give them to someone you know.

Try talking to your dad.........make him understand that animals too have feelings ...they too are living beings.............i'm sure your father will understand...as for the lizard its ok they can live without tails and keep your dog in a safe place and your other animls 2
