Most of my wishes came true...eventually. Except that one about the million bucks. I got the 2 wheeler and the boyfriend and the car (of course getting the car I wanted as a kid when it was 15 years old isn't quite what I meant when I made the wish). The house wasn't quite the castle I dreamed of but it was more than enough for me and honestly more than I wanted when I finally got it.

i'd never seen a shooting star before until one summer when i was 14 and i wished to see another ... which i did 3 days later. for the second one, i wished that i would keep that sense of how precious life is.

Once my sister was fishing off a pier in Florida. She had that nasty bait gunk on her hands. She said that she said a little prayer to God about helping her with her dirty hands, and began reeling in her line. She felt something on the hook and was hoping for a fish. On the end was a paper towel. She realized that her prayer had been answered and it scared her so bad, she stopped fishing.
