all parents love their children even if they dont show it as often as they should. divorce is such a difficult situation, but if their relationship is causing alot of heartache and stress within the family, sometimes it better to be apart.

I think a couple should stay together if possible. But sometimes, there are things that make it so that it's just not possible (infidelity, mental illness, abusive relationships, etc). It's terribly hard on the children when the parents are fighting all the time with a lot of screaming and profanity. Kids need a quiet, peaceful home, even if that means the parents split up. Sometimes, that's the price that has to be paid in order for the kids to get that type of environment. While I don't think it's a good thing when parents split (most of the time), the parents can make it not so painful by reassuring the kids that it's not their fault they have split up, that those kids are loved dearly and they'll ALWAYS be there for them emotionally and financially.

What enrages me is when I see one parent using the kids as weapons against the other parent for whatever reason. That infuriates me. Even if one parent has cheated or not treated the other right, the fact is, he or she will ALWAYS be that kids' parent and nothing can change that.

no one can measure a parents love for their offspring. will it do good for you if i say, ur parents are the only people on earth whom you can fall back on when everyone in the world seems to have turned around on you? yes, a divorce can even help not only the parents but the children as well when the marriage has been bad for a long time. They can be friends & it will be much healthier for all than be together and fight all the time. Wouldn't be better as friends than try to cramp on each others throat everyday? True, wedding vows are meant to be kept for life but with the very best of intentions, anything can turn upside down anytime in our life. Accept the inevitables that happens as a human being & move on for what ever life left in store for us.

My parents split and our lives got worse. My husbands family split and their lives got better.
My mom cheated, so we were taught at a young age that you can give up. But I was able to capture her mistakes to avoid my own. My husband family split due to abuse, and they became stronger and braver because of their struggle.
Parents show love by supporting the kids and making sure their well being and future will also be supported.

when they scold you.
everytime they scold you, it's mean how much love they are towards you.

divorce is never the answer especially when you have kids involved in this situation.
you may have to think about them more before taking an action.
