1 sac = identical..... 2 sacs = fraternal
Your doctor most likely just wants you to be cautious as there are always higher risks involved when it comes to carrying multiples.
Since you are a vegetarian he also may be concerned about certain nutrients you may be lacking

My twins share the same placenta as well. There is not much you can do to change that other then make sure you are getting a fair amount of good calories a day (no junk food calories like from soda etc) I have no idea why he'd say one would eat more then the other- they really have no control over it. Twin-Twin-Transfusion Syndrome is a possibility but is a problem caused by the cords of the babies, when one does intake more then the other (again, not the babies fault! Important to remember that)
Twins sharing one placenta isn't very rare- although it's not considered common either.
Unfortunately, sharing a placena alone isn't enought to determine zygosity. There are only a few ways to definitively tell whether you are carrying Identical twins while in utero. The first is with CVS testing or having an amnio. The second it by ultrasounds monitoring- HOWEVER- you will only be able to tell from ultrasounds if the twins are Monochorionic (meaning they share the same outer sac also called chorion.
For the record, I am carrying identical twin boys which was confirmed via CVS- but the ultrasound does show them as Monoamniotic Monochorionic.
Feel free to check out my ultrasounds on my myspace!

If you don't believe your doctor
A.) Get a second opinion
B.) Do some research
I'm sure there are not many doctors, midwives, or dieticians on here, so our advice won't be nearly as good as a professional. I say listen your doctor and take it easy.
This site has some info you should look at http://www.babycentre.co.uk/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/scans/chorionicityscanexpert/
Info: If you find your twins are sharing a placenta, the vast majority will also grow and develop normally. Almost nine out of ten of all monochorionic twins will NOT develop TTTS, so the majority will not need any treatment in pregnancy. However, it is advisable to have regular scans to look for early signs so that you can be referred to a specialist centre if necessary.

Hi,
I am a mother of twins, but mine are paternal. They are 3 years old now! :D But I did go out and buy a book called, Twins!, which I am putting the link to in here. It goes all the way through pregnancy, as well as the first years of the babies lives. It is for maternal and paternal births.
It's a scary but fun experience. The primary advice I can give you is to make sure that you live in an area that handles premature births at a high success rate. If you don't, then hopefully you have family that live in a bigger city that you can stay with close to 6 or 7 months into term. Smaller communities that do not have the means to handle the care of premature births is very dangerous and I don't care what anyone says, it's a threat to you and your baby.
Most of all, limit your physical activity. It's known to be wonderful during pregnancy, but regarding twins, this can throw you into premature labor. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions!

both easily one of you want to be temple worth and carry a temple recommend, and performance lengthy gone by the endowment consultation for your self. As you know, if you're a convert you should attend a year earlier you may go by the endowment consultation, yet i'd recommend in that aspect body going to the temple and doing baptisms so that you'll be able to develop into acquainted with the ambience of the temple, so its no longer as scary for the first time you go by. you even must have the norm, a wedding ceremony license, a temple gown or your wedding ceremony gown in case you want to be married in that, and an escort that could actually help you earlier and after the ceremony. the different questions, be at liberty to e mail me. I basically were given married in april in the temple :)

You do need to increase your food intake and have scans more regularly than usual, to check that both babies are doing fine...
As for identical or not, the source below shows all the info and explains how it works...
