i used to pay $100 for cingular wireless for my laptop..but it got to be too much..its almost a year later and im hoping prices have come down/..any recommendations?

You can check out Verizon as well, they tend to compete with Cingular. (and for every person who answered some oddball way... she means Wireless Anywhere Service (i.e. cellular broadband) not just broadband from the house)

If you buy dsl or cable you can buy a thing called PC Card and you could go as far as 400 feet(depending on how far you choose) from a router or modem...

yes try verison If you have erison its 50 if you dont its 60
