I want to execute a 11 month leave and license agreement. But I want it to begin from January 1, 2007 to November 30, 2007. Is it possible for me to execute the same if I am now in March ?

Indian Contract Act no where provides that any agreement /contract has to be in written form. But usually we put down terms & condition of any contract on a piece of paper to prove it later on in the court of law or before any arbitrator in case of any dispute arising out of it. You can always specify this fact in any written contract that this agreement came into existence from January1, 2007 although it was put on this piece of paper on the present date & both the parties agree for its being executed for 11months from January, 2007 & no party will raise any objection on this account later on. With this clause you can save guard your stand in this agreement & make it executable from January1, 2007.

No. You need to have the stamppaper issued on that date or prior to that date to make the document executable. If your go to the stamp vendor he may possibly help you in finding the back dated stamp paper.

If either party agree, the verbal agreement, if any, could be be dated, from earlier date, on new stamp paper.

Yes. Agreement on NJSP is only record of agreement, in verbal. If agreement is from 1st Jan. you can record it at any time. Written on 20th March and w.e.f. 1st Jan. is not bad.

try gettin a stamp paper dated jan 07 or even more earlier one...
u may find it wit the person who does the typing for u or lawyer or some broker who deals wit registration n stuff...
