I am not on birth control, i have not lost weight only gained it, and i have not been excercising at all my lifestyle has been totally the same, i am bloated, i have been sleeping way too much, i have been sick, and eating a lot, but i have no cramps and no sign of my period coming that is the only reason i am worried, i think i might only be a couple of weeks preggo so it might be too soon to tell from a urine test

Ok Darl, first of all relax.
We as yet don't know whether you are pregnant yet or not.
You are stressed but that is normal, even for an older lady who wants an addition to their family. Yet more so for you as you are still quite young.
Having a little one would be beautiful & I know from experience.
If you were pregnant with a boy & regardless of what some others may say, if your'e very aware of your body, the symptoms kick in pretty much when the egg settles in.
It may make no sense to scientists, but thats the way it is. You often get sicker with boys & carry them lower.
I do not doubt that you are pregnant, but you of course may not be.
Now the next move is to make a doctors appointment for tommorrow.
The Blood test they do these days are so sensitive they can pick up pregnancy before the 1st day of your next period.
So I would encourage you to, for your relief, go & persist on a blood test tommorrow, thats if you want to know, ASAP.

I find it horrifying that no-one answered your Q last time you asked.
Please email me if you would like to. I am in Australia, & I would keep anything you wanted to tell me confidential.
That's totally up to you though, As is your choices.
I would encourage you to keep the little one, but I am not the judge. Lots of caring to you & I will say a prayer for you, if you don't mind.
Email me anytime, MaryJane,
with Love
Cate.
P.s. I started my period when I was 12 & was never, late too!

At your appointment next week, your doctor will be able to tell you if you are pregnant or not. You can try taking a test in a few more days, if it will make you feel better. However, I would just wait until your doctor's appointment. Hopefully you will start your period before your appointment. Just remember that everyone has an off cycle once in awhile, even after 6 years of regular periods. There is also a very good possibility that you are pregnant. I know you probably don't want to hear this, but if you are this worried about being pregnant then perhaps you shouldn't be having sex. Pregnancy is possible even if you use protection and if you aren't ready for the responsibility of having a child then perhaps you should wait until you are. I'm not judging you, just offering another perspective. Good luck!

Many symptoms of your period are similar to pregnancy. Some experience nausea, breast tenderness, mood swings, even cravings. ( l love chocolate). Your period, can be a few days late. Even if you are regular. Even Regular periods can run a bit behind some times. The test said no, but they can be wrong, taken early, or administered improperly. Stay away from drinking, drugs, unprotected sex for the next week or so. If no period try the test again or go to your doctor ( the later is preferred) He can check to see if you are pregnant and or check to see why you are late, and if you have any sexual transmitted disease. The age of 17 is young to be having this scare, however this does happen to allot of young girls. If you find out your not pregnant, Please do not forget the fear you are having and consider using proper protection to prevent ST D's, and pregnancy, or even Abstaining until you are ready to have a child in a serious committed relationship. ST D's, miscarriage, abortion, can scar your body up and make it difficult to conceive in the future. If you are with child, you will need proper prenatal care, not only for the sake of the child, but for your own body. If the baby doesn't get what it needs from your diet, it will take it out of your body. Good luck! I wish you not only the best, but for wisdom after this experience regardless of result, and the self respect not to repeat such a hair pulling experience.

It is possible you could be pregnant. Are you on birth control? That could cause your period to be off. When you go to the doctor they will usually just have you urinate in a cup and test that to see if you are pregnant. Or they might take a small amount of blood and test that (which is usually more reliable) It also depends which doctor you go to. Good luck!

Lots f things can cause you to be late or even skip a period, besides pregnancy, However, false negatives are common. Take another test first thing in the AM (HGC is stronger in the first morning pee) If it is also negative, wait a little longer then go see your doctor.

Well at this point you going to have to play the waiting game and see what the doctor says. Even though you have had the same period for 6 years doesn't mean it wont switch up or you wont have an "off" cycle. MANY MANY things can cause a period to be late.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Pregnancy tests are 99.9 percent effective if you are worried take a second test. A number of things could make you late including heavy exercise or your hormones being a little out of ballance. Don't worry about it. If you followed the instructions for the pregnancy test correctly than it is almost certainly accurate and you are just a little late.

Take another test in a few days if you have not started yet, If it still comes back negative then talk to your doctor about being late.
It could be anything or nothing at all.
Most women miss from time to time.

Extreme weight loss or exercise could do it, as could stress. It is very rare that any woman is always regular...though it sounds like you have been lucky thus far. Try to be calm, worrying won't help.
