what is the best configuration for gaming and video editing and recording from TV tuner card. money is not a matter and no AMD please.

Okay then:
2.5ghz Intel Quad Core
8800GTX x 2
6gb Ram
Sound Blaster Audigy Card
so pretty much a graphics card in the 8 series (nvidia) although anything above a 7600GT should do fine. 2gb or more is PLENTY. Most gamers only have 2gb anyway. And you really need a Dual core (Intel Core 2 Duo) but i put a quad core... lol.
If your looking for a motherboard go with a Gigabyte one, i got one with both PCI-E and AGP. The more PCI and PCI-E slots the better. Even better if you get a PCI-E x16 one.

haha Why don't you like AMD? Well anyway, I'd go with an Intel Core 2 Duo Conroe Processor, a geForce 8800 gfx card and at least 2 gigs of RAM. Get it all nice and cheap at newegg
