I know this boy i insant message him all the time, we talk about EVERYTHING!!! And he is in a band and he wants me to go see him play. Becuase he told me that i'm his "best friend". And that he cares about me alot. Were five years apart. I have a huge crush on him, and he doesn't know. What the heck could he mean by this. Am i really just his "best friend" or am i something special!!! Or am i just exagerating!!!
Please help me!!!
Plus he always comes up to me and well talk and stuff. Were in the same home school. He alwayssmiling at me when ever i loook at him. I'm completely infatuated by him!!!
Anywho, please tell what he means????!!!!!
And just so you know, we live in the same town and i go over his house alot!! So were not strangers at all!!

He keeps telling you that you are his best friend? But he knows that you like him? Then I'd take him at his word and believe that he has just friendly feelings for you but not more.

I'm a Little concerned about the 5 years apart thing. 22 and 27, not a big deal.13 and 18, a big deal. and judging by your post, i would say you are closer to 13 than 22. but that aside, if you are age appropriate (ie no laws are being broken) tell him how you feel. in my experience best friends make the best lovers

Well the fact that he knows changes the story a lot. He can be genuine in his feelings, or he can be using that knowledge to string you along. Or he can actually just like you as a best Friend and nothing more. I would talk to him about it.

Don't wait around for this clown. You don't ever want to wonder about your status with a man or anyone for that matter.
If he is seriously interested he will definitely let you know. I think the reason he is ticking you off is because you know this.
Focus on a new and more interesting guy, one that isn't afraid to communicate.

It is awesome that you are friends first.
If the relationship grows into something more , then even better, as you are truly friends first.

Be happy that he is claiming to be his BEST FRIEND..Being older by 5 years, he is just being cautious by referring you as the best friend.. He may not want to jolt you by telling you he is in love with you or you are his girl friend etc. I think he is matured and knows what to do.. Just give him time.. OK?

I think that you should tell him how you feel and that could break the ice for him alittle. Who knows he may be feeling the same way just not know how to say it.
