So my baby girl will be here in a few more weeks and we are trying to find a middle name for her. I got a lot of suggestions, but I think I came up with the perfect name. What do you think about

Ja'Niya Kelis Williams?

pronounced Ja-NI-yah Kah-Lease

I asked for suggestions on a middle name before, but if you have something better let me know! Thanks :)

Thanks for all the positive feedback. Even to the people who didn't like it, I thank you as well. Everyone won't like any name...thank you all for not being jerks...except one person.

Ja'Niya is a very unique name, but we didn't come up with it. It's very very few people with that name. Kelis is a singer and although I don't like naming children after 'idols' I really love her name. That's the only way I've every seen Kelis spelled, but I wanted to make sure everyone understood the pronounciation.

I guess it's original in the sense that I have never heard Ja'Niya and Kelis paired together.

http://www.biblical-baby-names.com/meaning-of-janiya.html lists Ja'Niya as meaning a Gift of God in Hebrew and http://www.yeahbaby.com/meaning-name-etymology.php?name=Janiyah says it means God is gracious in Polish. In 2005 Ja'Niya was the 479th most popular girls name (not very popular).

Kelis means beautiful. http://www.yeahbaby.com/meaning-name-etymology.php?name=Kelis

Well Done!

Ja'Niya - is tricky to spell and she'll constantly be correcting people etc.. Keep it but try and spell it differently, maybe get rid of the ' and capital N, it really is too much. Janiya, Jania??
Kelis is very pretty too, but a little bit of a mouthful together with the first name.
Williams is such an everyday surname ( which is fine !) but added with 2 very afro carribbean sounding first names (pls don't take offence, I know what i mean!!!) - it all together sounds a bit silly, tone down the middle one i think.
Janiya Williams is ok so pick a softer mid name to tie in and the unusual first name and common surname

Together it sounds beautiful. I love Kelis. Ja'Niya sounds nice but for some reason I have never been able to like names that contain an apostrophe.

I really love the Kelis part of the name. Honestly, I think you should make that the first name and re-think a middle name. I don't really like ja'niya, it has too many negative stereotypes attached to it. Kelis sounds really cool, very ethnic. Ja'niya just isn't doin it for me, but its your child, you should name it what you'd like to

I think that's a great name!
I've never heard "Kelis" before...But, for it to be easier to understand how to say it, maybe add an "e" on the end?

I think that whole name is very pretty! It may be quite a challenge for her to spell her name at first though, but it will probably give her a head start in life! Also people may nickname her as 'niya' which is pretty too, so its all good! All the best for the future :)

Janiya is a very popular name but the combination of the names is very nice. And Ja-Ny-ya is easy to pronounce, it is a very popular name among African- Americans and I have a cousin named Janiya and everybody pronounce her name just fine.

JaNiya is different, but she'll have to correct people because they are bound to call her Ja-NEE-ya. Don't like Kelis at all.

Ja'Niya Kelis Williams?

Sorry, I don't like it. Poor girl. what has she done to you??
In five years it will be called tacky. Keep it simple.
I'd go for:
Kelly Jane Williams
Jeanette Kay Williams
Kayla Jane Williams
