My LG Verizon cell will be upgraded in June, until then I'm stuck with it. It doesn't play bought ringtones correctly. What I mean is you don't hear the actual band playing or singing, only a chime imitating the song.

But, if I purchase a ringback song for my callers to listen to when they call me, will they hear the actual song or still only the fake imitation? Since the music isn't actually coming out of the phone I'm hoping it will work.

Thanks!

Ringback (Sprint calls them calltones) will be the actual song, since your phone's technology doesn't effect the phone line.

Just watch out, those things will want to renew at X number of dollars every 90 days or so.

i didnt even know you could get them. how do you get em? im assuming it should work coz it isnt coming out of your fone and most of the time the speakers affect the sound coming out and you will not hear the actual lyrics because there just isnt enough speakers to back it up you need atleast 2 speakers to get the full effect of the music including lyrics etc. good luck in finding out if it works
