My first trip to a bar to celebrate a girlfriend's birthday party was the day that I met my husband. We've been married for 15 years till today and have 3 great kids.

Yep.....sure did!! It was 1975. I was finally back home from over-seas duty, finally out of the Service. I was in the "Raven Room" at Fort Sam Houston "O" Club. I was doing what I did best those years, getting drunk. My WIfe and three friends walked in, I finally got to dance with my Wife and we have been dancing ever since. I remember that she used to make me so nervous, that I would drop my car keys. If I drop them now, she smiles and asks me, Do I still make you nervous? I will always answer "Yes".
It's funny to think, I met my wife after my war and my Parents met at a dance in their war, WW II.
My Father in Heaven, though not happy with me at the time, lead her and I together. It will be 34 years this coming August 16.

i did, met my hubby 8 years ago, we are as much in love now as ever, if not more. i was recently seperated and fighting for custody of my then 8 year old son, my ex had kidknapped him. he was there from the day i met him, we have not left each others side, he is a real man in my eyes, he took on a woman with alot of baggage and didn't have too.

I met my husband online...I know some people think online marriages dont work. But I believe the Lord brought us together and HE used the www to do it. We are being so blessed. I dont think it matters how you meet, as long as the Lord is at the center of it, it will work. God bless
