this guy answered one of my questions and said he was going to trace my ip address to find out where i live, and then call the cops where i live. can he really do that?

PeahiWahine: it's not always about you, you know. i meant this one: "I will trace your IP adress and call 911 in your area." i know that yahoo could trace my ip but i dont think they'd bother.

I am just trying to coax you into seeking psychological help for your suicidal thoughts. I am sick hering about young people dying I have seen too much of it my life I don't want anymore. You hurt others lives if you kill yourself so pleas GET HELP! Your life will be happy again after you seek therepy and youll think "Why was I thinking of doing that?" Stop contemplating suicide get help from someone. I can't trace but Yahoos hosts can in which I will call and tell as an emergancy to find your contacts before you end up killing yourself. IF you're using streamyx, there's no way he can trace it because when your ADSL modem dial up to the TMNET server, TMNET DHCP server will assign a random IP to your modem which allow you to go online.

you can trace ip address but they only give you vague info. like what town you might be in.
