Sometimes digging into someones past isn't the smartest thing to do.It shows that you don't trust them and tends to ruin a relationship before it even gets started.Unless you think this person is a cereal killer(in which case you should have already bailed) the past is best left in the past. This person will let you know what you need to know now and when you are together longer and they feel comfortable they will let you in more and more.I don't really like discussing the past with my husband his or mine because it always ends with a slamming door!!! Most people would rather just leave this subject alone.

Why do you have to look for your lovers past?? It is not important. What is important is what is happening NOW!! Is he/she a nice, responsible, respected, caring, loving person?? Are you comfortable to be with that person? What does your gut feeling say??

Talk to a family member or a friend. Or if you know who he's dated lately just ask that person. I actually did that although she didn't tell me much.
