GERVALDF suggested you FORMIC ACID, e.g. HCOOH.
I suggest some other acidic organic compounds, the following ones :

HOOC-COOH(aq) + 4 Cu(OH)2(aq) <--->
<---> Cu2O(s) + 2 CuCO3(s) + 5 H2O(aq)

that is OXALIC ACID : the latter is a REDUCING AGENT stronger than FORMIC ACID.
Furthermore, there is also ASCORBIC ACID, a well-known reducing agent involved in many BIOLOGICAL REDOX PHENOMENA, as sugars do it.
