I am also having trouble with the OPK's. Try to take your Basel Body Temperature too. I know I am going to give it a honest try this month. I always forget to before I get up or I always awake at different times. UUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!! This TTC thing is SOOOO frustrating.

Lol how funny, I asked the exact same question the other day!!!

But I have also had the same colours, dark, for a few days.

I was told that you have the LH surge in your system all the time! And basically rises quick which shows obviously the dark line.
I also was told that you have about 5 fertile days and two high fertile, and this is also when the line goes dark.

Lots of people have been saying take your temperature as well, but I have also heard that this could be difficult!! So next month I may invest in a thermometer! lol

You should get your partner/hubby into bed asap!!!

Good luck sweet heart, and let us know how you get on with those strips as this is my second month in using them, and any advice with them also would be great! xx

Goodness all that sounds complicated! Did you know that your body can tell you for free when you are fertile?

Simply take your temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise when you ovulate (around the middle of your cycle) and will stay higher until your next period. Once released you egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12-24 hours.
Also keep an eye on your mucus. it will become stretchy like egg white as you approach ovulation. Sperm can survive for up to 5 days in this most fertile mucus.
When trying to conceive it is recommended that you have intercourse every other day during the week before you ovulate and then for a day or two after.
You can learn the basics of charting on line with fertilityfriend.com. The Couple to Couple League also offer an excellent home study course and classes if you want to learn more about interpreting your body's natural fertility signs.
Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins and Good Luck!

the chances are your about to ovulate... i think if i remember rightly, when l h is picked up it can show up as darker or the same as the test line. if in doubt take another test, but make sure you have not drunk anything for at least two hours before, its also better to take the tests between two and ten pm.but i would say you probably are picking up a serge, it didn't happen with me last time i ovulated but they say you should be having the egg white discharge now as well, or at least on the day of ovulation( which is anything from 12 to 36 hours after your surge is detected)... either way, there is no harm done in still getting busy with your partner or hubby! good luck! sorry i cant be of more help.
