It seems like every ethnic group has pride for the color of their skin and they naturally segregate themselves from other people, but if I'm open about having white pride I'm a racist. I don't hate anyone because of the color of their skin and I don't think race should even matter, but it does in the world we live in and I don't think that will ever change. But in fact I am proud to be white. I feel very blessed to be white and born in the United States. Not all men are created equally, but I do believe all men have the same potential for greatness.

I'm black and I don't think there is anything wrong with someone being proud to be white at all. I don't believe there is anything wrong with celebrating who you are with others. The key is that you don't see YOUR color, culture or ethnicity as any better than anyone elses. Does anyone really believe the KKK when they say, "We're not anti-black- we're pro-white?"

Unfortunately, because of the historic abuse of white pride, it can be hard for a white person to publicly acknowledge pride in their color. Perhaps what you can do is as loud as you celebrate your whiteness, you can celebrate all men. I do believe all men are equal in the eyes of God.

What do you mean not all men are created equally? Have you ever read the Declaration of Independence?
The idea that all men are created equal is at the core of American society.
Other than that, I agree with you. Race should not be an issue at all. People can have pride in themselves, their heritage, and their culture, but to make a big fuss about pride in a specific race only widens the gap between them.

Your sure are a racist where did you ever get the idea that all men are not created equally because their is no one race any better than the other but the way some of the whites go on here with their disgusting questions there is a grey area hanging over them they seem to have some belief they are Superior to any other race.

obviously, you are not an american.

our declaration of independence states that all men are created equal.

now how they are affected by their surrondings is another thing. some rich kids grow to be productive members of society while others become paris hilton.

some impoverished people end up in jail while others use their surroundings as motivation to work hard and spend wisely so they can change their lot.

race has nothing to do with a persons character. there a people who whine that they are not getting a fair deal in all races and all races have those who will not let predjudices stand in their way of becoming whatever they want to become.

pride in any race is to be proud of every member of that race. so pride in any race is foolishness. i cannot think of any race who has not had missteps somewhere in time or that has reached perfection yet.

If you have to ask, you obviously don't understand very much about history. Black Pride is considered acceptable because it is a response against white supremacy in asserting their worth and value as human beings. White people when they express "pride" they are asserting their belief in the system of white supremacy that has traditionally favored them and is not an express in opposition to racial discrimination and instead is an expression in favor of it. That is why it is not "OK as you put it.

Pride is one of the seven deadly sins. We should come up with a more original one. How about White Lust, or White Gluttonny?

Seriously though, you envying that, is like a kid in the gifted class envying a kid in remedial class.
Wake up and have some pride about yourself. Stop aimimg so low.

It is called "reverse discrimination" and became popular in the late 1980s. It is a form of over apologizing for something that happened in the past by over compensating in the present.
