I have a friend who travels frequently via airplane between NY and CA and he makes up elaborate ficticious stories to tell strangers when they ask him what kind of work he does. He has been a Jungle Guide in Beliz, an ornithologist, Sewage Technician and many more............
What do you tell strangers?

I tell strangers I'm a wife, mother, chef, nurse, laundress, housekeeper, financial analyst, chauffeur, psychiatrist, etc. -- By the time I get halfway through the list, they're snoring! When they awake, they thank me profusely for one of the best sleeps they've had in years, especially while flying! So, when the next "stranger" ever asks me the same question, I add "sleep therapist" !!!!

I have done so many weird things that by my age I guess folks think that I am a tweaker or just a liar. I tell them the truth but I have the photos to back it up, by the way- Belize is a great place

I have traveled a great deal but never needed to tell a complete stranger a fib.. that's says a lot about that persons credibility to me.

I usually tell them the truth. If my life seems uninteresting to them, then I probably won't enjoy talking with them anyway...
