I actually experience the same. It's a shame though.. coz I really like Korean movies, music, food, etc
When I watch Korean movies, I thought they are really friendly n nice people. I guess I was wrong.
It's true about the part where they are nice to their people. In my workplace it's the same.. they only want to talk to korean. I hope it changed someday =)

China invaded Korea and there have been hostilities between the countries many times over the past 1,000 years. China has also supported North Korea, which many South Koreans feel is keeping the north oppressed.
These girls are being foolish. You didn't do anything to the Koreans and you haven't been around long enough to be responsible for Chinese-Korean history! lol
Unfortunately, some people like to make little groups and keep other people out. Maybe it makes them feel special. Maybe they're really insecure and by hanging in a group they feel safer. All groups do this at one time or another. It's not just the Korean girls. Teen years are the worst time for this, IMO. Most teenagers want to be part of a group and it's easy to create a group by excluding everyone who doesn't have a certain style of dressing, or live in a particular area, or share the same religion or ethnic background.
Ignore those girls and find other people to hang with. When they're older, those girls will probably feel silly or ashamed about the way they acted. It's not you, it's just that they want to shut other people out, period. Find other people you have something in common with... and remember not to be like them!

The main reason is just because chinese have the biggest community's , if you think about it u can eat chinese food and find chinese in every city in the us. Koreans dont have as large a group therefore it makes them stick closely together. Think of it this way. Fujian chinese stick together because they are the biggest minority in china as far as popularity go's. Very rarely do you ever see a fujian chinese with another type of chinese together. small numbers stick together usually. The koreans just dont have a big enthic group so they try to feel more important by sticking together and not letting others join their group

Chinese and Koreans have fought many wars over the centuries. China has always tried to dominate Korea. Korea was at one time almost twice as large as it is today. A large chunk of Chinese territory, that along the Korean border used to be Korean.
But because Japan's occupation is more recent the Koreans hate the Japanese more than the Chinese.
