First off, Jose Vidro is a Seattle Mariner.
I think they will win about 50 games so no they wont avoid a 100+ loss season. I think theyre offense is good with guys like Zimmerman, Felipe Lopez, and Austin Kearns. Nick Johnson is good too but hes hurt right now. The pitching is awful with the exception of their ace, John Patterson and their closer, Chad Cordero. Other than those guys their pitching staff is just disgusting and because of this they don't have a chance at preventing 100 losses.

I'm a huge baseball fan and I thought I knew at least 5 or more players on each team but when I came to the Nationals I could only name one and his name was Jose Vidro. Too bad Jose Vidro was traded to the Mariners. Now I know none. I really don't think they'll do well this year but then again, I really don't think they'll lose more than 100 games.

I would set the over/under at 112 and take the under, but not by much.
I think, maybe, 55-107. They quite simply have nothing to look forward to.
IMO - Jim Bowden is a horrendous General Manager and should be fired for the sake of that franchise. He didn't have a ton to work with, but he has made some terrible moves.

Yes they will not lose a 100 games. They have some good young players and pitchers. They will not contend for post season but thet will not lose 100.

Yes, even when they were the Expos they were always known for having a good farm system, and a good young team. even though they lost Soriano, they still have others like Jose Vidro to fall back on. He will help the young players. they wont be playoff contenders, but they wont lose 100.

round ninety losses, i don't believe of they're going to wreck that magical one hundred spot. Oh, and Lang, the Nationals play in the NL East, the position the Mets rotation will be questionable, and the Braves will be strong again, yet no longer dominant like the 'ninety's.

Well they just signed Pedro Astacio back to a minor league contract, not a good sign to a team already strapped with weak starting pitching.
I say 58-104.
