About cd roms?

ok heres my problem. When i right click on the cd drive and go to properties it say i got free space on my cd-r when it has already got files in there? Anyone know how to fix this problem?

Perhaps the CD hasn't been "closed" and you can still add files to it?

A CD will hold about 700MB. If the files on it are not using all the space, the properties will show there is still some space available.
