for instance: when you search for koala bears on Yahoo! from that point on any time you type k in the search box koala bears is going to pop up.

mine comes up with a list a mile long and I don't want it to slow things down everytime I try to type something in.

On the menu bar, Click on the "Tools" --> "Internet Options" follow by "Content", on the AutoComplete column click on the "Settings" and a AutoComplete Settings window will pop up. From there, you can change the setting according to your preference. Just untick which category you do not want and click "OK" to apply the setting.

If you wish to erase all the history browsing, you can go the menu bar again, click on "Toos" --> "Internet Options" and under the browsing history (If you using IE 7), click on the "Delete Button" and a Delete History Browing windows will popup, click on "Delete History" on the History column. After finish close the windows and you ready to SURF~~

Tools > Internet Options > Content.

Click on the AutoComplete button and then uncheck the forms box.

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
Under category Browsing
inline autocomplete is listed.
Uncheck it
press Apply
press ok to exit
