GROUNDBREAKING STUDY SHOWS NEED FOR UNBIASED DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
http://www.heritagenewmedia.com/mrosenthal031307.htm
The study describes 190 male callers to a domestic violence hotline, men from all walks of life who found that resources for males seeking help with an abusive female partner are virtually nonexistent. It appears to be common for abusive wives to use controlling behaviors, and they are especially prone to using their children as pawns to control their husbands. And federally funded shelters and hotlines commonly deny services to men.
The study is here:

Includes cases such as:
“She stabbed me with a knife, and I didn’t even defend
myself, and after I got out of the hospital two weeks
later, the court tells me to go to a group they say is for
victims. It turns out to be for batterers and I am expected
to admit to being an abuser and talk about what I did to
deserve getting stabbed.”

Incidentally before we hear the myth that men perpetrate 90% of domestic violence, the study reviews other academic studies which show:
Half of all violent arguments are initiated by women (Straus & Gelles, 1988); (3) in approximately 50% of violent relationships the violence is mutual, in approximately 25% the violence is perpetrated by only the male, and in approximately 25% the violence is perpetrated only by the female (Hines&Saudino, 2003; Morse, 1995; O’Leary et al., 1989; Straus & Gelles, 1988);

Is 196 scholarly investigations: 153 empirical studies and 43 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners.

Data in the study on female abusers controlling behaviour indicates that they use the feminist inspired bias in the system to further abuse their spouses:
The most frequent type of controlling behavior was the use of threats and coercion (n=114; 77.6%), which included such acts as threatening to kill themselves or their husbands, threatening to call the police and have the husband falsely arrested, or threatening to leave the husband.
Furthermore, several men indicated that their wives controlled them through blaming the men for their own abuse or minimizing the abuse (n=88; 59.9%), through manipulating the system such that the abusers used the court system to do such things as gain sole custody of the children or falsely obtain a restraining order against the victim (n=72; 49.0%).

Quote it in context Blabla Yaga:
"Archer, J. (2002). Sex differences in physically aggressive acts between heterosexual partners: A meta-analytic review. Aggression and Violent Behavior, 7, 213-351. (Analyzing responses to the Conflict Tactic Scale and using a data set somewhat different from the previous 2000 publication, the author reports that WOMEN ARE MORE LIKELY THAN MEN TO THROW SOMETHING AT THEIR PARTNERS, AS WELL AS SLAP, KICK, BITE, PUNCH AND HIT WITH AN OBJECT. Men were more likely than women to strangle, choke, or beat up their partners.)"
Yes, feminists like to make up myths about domestic violence by quoting statistics in a one sided fashion. We've been through this before. I know about the tactic. Did you not anticipate being exposed in this lie? As usual, hardly relevant to the topic at hand - feminist domestic violence services aiding women in abusing men.
Were you trying to prove one of the ways is by lying by omission? If so congratulations.

uhh very scientific method there, let's see if I can replicate it:
Women are more likely than men to throw something at their partners [ like a throwing knife or a ballistic missile so he dies ]
-As well as slap [ to death ]
-kick [ to death ]
-bite [ in the carotid artery to death ]
-punch [ to death ]
-and hit with an object [ like a machete to death of course ]
Tip for free: If you have to resort to just plain old making stuff up to make a point, maybe you don't have one.

Alex: Instead of making an ad hominem attack against the website because you have no logical argument, you'll notice I posted a link to the study itself, which appeared in the peer review journal of family violence and you know, you could always have a look at it yourself and see.

*sigh*
blabber, you do know what mutually exclusive means right? A couple of paragraphs down it says:
"It is important to study these male victims of severe IPV so that we can understand the dynamics of this type of abusive relationship. Once we understand these dynamics, we can lend further support to one of the two competing arguments concerning domestic violence (i.e., whether it is a gender or a human issue)."
Basically the whole study is a case for the first theory being the correct one.
And I'm aware of the "women receiving injuries more", never have I denied it - As usual we're exploring the side of information management that is defined by IRRELEVANCE I suppose, why? Because if a man starts punching, kicking, biting and throwing things at someone bigger and he gets "beaten up" receiving 2/3 of the injuries, here's an idea: MAYBE HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN VIOLENT. Your attitude which excuses women's violence - LEADS TO VIOLENCE AGAINST THEM. All to satisfy your hatred for men.

You also seem to be failing to see the difference between the author saying something backed by research and explaining what the competing positions are before proving them erroneous.
The study was very good and factual. I would recommend people to read it. Obviously you are so desperate and narrow minded that you must take an explanation of a debunked position out of context to prove your point.

And feminists claim they are good? lol if they were really good, they'd do something about it.
By the way, you do know all the feminists here are going to deny what you say even though you showed credible sources (I've seen the same study done on another website and the statistics were almost the same)
Baba Yaga is outspoken like always. She hates you because you are waaaayyy toooo smart for her and are dangerous to feminism. She claims you are the Baba Yaga clone and I asked the question how she came to the conclusion and all she answered was: ''Come see the CLOWN CONVENTION!''
She makes accusations about everyone but can never prove them. She bashes men when they make spelling mistakes but she makes plenty of spelling mistakes herself; and when a woman makes spelling mistakes she says nothing about it, even when they crank, not a word she says.

Like it or not, women generally have both the law and public sympathy on their side. While women-beating men are still prevalent, the likelihood of these cases have probably decreased significantly in the past decade, and women have more avenues of help and people to turn to now.
Inferring from your source, Men are generally seen as "more socially, politically, and economically dominant over females", but this also works as a double edged sword.
This means that due to the male pride, men are less likely to go and seek help from the proper avenues, thus it might actually make statistics less accurate or biased against males, where there might actually be many more men who are suffering in silence.
Women generally suffer more severe physical damage than men, but it must also be taken into account that the mental abuse for males as for females are the same..if not more, and that some men arent quite the same after the trauma.
Currently, the law and system favours women, which i do feel is okay to a certain extent since men are scientifically more likely to commit violence due to testosterones.
However, i feel that these men are being subjected to a "double standard" of sorts, and do not have the means to actually get help from an external source. Already it is hard for men to make the first step due to societal reasons, but the way the system is set up, it is made close to impossible for these abused men to get any actual help.
Any person who is an advocate of equality and fights against unfairness would agree that these abused men should be able to seek professional aid in these cases of violence and abuse.

"Why does this study of abused men indicate that feminist domestic violence services aid women in abusing men?"
Because it's from a biased "Christian News" website, that has an agenda in keeping women at home and submissive.
That being the case, it's not necessary credible, or true. You have to be careful what you believe on the internet. Anyone can post any lies or half-truths they like. As you've just done.
