can i change a CD driver to DVD driver?

I have a CD driver at my house since my comp. sucks, butt is there some way to change a samsung SW-252s into a DVD/CD drive?

you have to buy a new DVD drive

Well, ya. You can remove the CD drive and buy a DVD drive and install it in the CD's place.
