Condition is everything when it comes to coins. And 99% of the questions about the value of a coin that somebody has does not give the condition. So you don't get accurate answers. Without knowing the condition of what you have, all I can tell you is that you would find a coin in 'good' condition in a coin dealer's box of cheap world coins for .50 to $1.00. As the grade reaches 'fine' and higher, the values go up.

It's best if you have collections of all the pennies, even the current ones, because it would be rare by the time you're older.
