I am wondering if those, get a free xbox 360, ps3, ipod, wii, etc websites ever really give away anything for free. Has anyone here received their prize? What sites did you use?

Many of them do however the ones that do involve you jumping through many hoops. Some of these hoops are free, like signing up for an AOL trial membership or blockbuster. Some of these hoops are not free and either way they are a pain. Pick if the pain is worth it to you. I do know someone that got an xbox this way and had a hard time canceling the memberships he had been forced to join. Also they ask for your email before getting into the nitty gritty of how to get the free item and so make sure that you give an email you other than your primary one.

Most them are crap. They will lead you into an endless array of clicks and subscriptions, telling you that u get points, but ultimately you'll only end up with a lot of spam in your inbox....

You might want to try http://freegodies4u.com
Some of the stuff there does actually reach your home thought it is mostly for the US. Do a google search for "free goodies". You will find some corporeal websites

in my own personal experience...the answer is : NO

many of these require that you tell them your email address.

don't...its simple...
they use this to spam your email inbox until you see things like "2789 unread mail)

plus...they have you go through these requirements...which make you sign up with other websites and their own deals.
for example...in order to get this "ipod"....one must first put in his email...and then sign up with at least two websites...resulting in either more spam or some money being spent. in the end...however...you will not get this material.

from what my friends tell me...there ARE FEW AND VERY HARD TO FIND ones that actually do give these prizes out. how do i know? his ipod is one from one of those ad's.

in summary...i advise you not to sign up because the vast majority of these sites are out to spam your email.
hope this helps.

apparently they do...you have to get like 20 other people to sign up to the sight as well and you all have to go through heaps of junk and surveys and online forms and you end up with heaps of spyware and they give you credit to buy a Wii or whatever from some online store. I havnt tried it and dont intend to but if you are realy desperate and have the time (and enough gullable friends) then load up a virtual machine in VMware to protect your computer from the spyware and have a go

I got a phone, but I had to answer alot of questions and get a contract with the phone company that promoted the phone. I ended up paying more really though than it was worth :/
I forget the site I used.

The only thing they give away is your personal information and your email address.
