Your baby is less active because he's full term and doesn't have much room to move around anymore. If you are 3cm dilated, then you will probably deliver very soon. If you don't, your doctor will probably induce labor. You should be holding your precious baby before you know it. Good luck!

Many women go past their due dates so don't worry. however, your doctor should be monitoring you every few days at this point because things can quickly change after you go past your due date. Sounds like you could go anytime since you are 3 cm dilated. Your doctor should have already spoken to you about induction. Talk to him about it the next time you see him. After 40 weeks, the placenta tends to deteriorate so the doctor usually wants to keep a closer eye on you. They also should be watching your amniotic fluid amount as this sometimes decreases after 40 weeks.

the baby will stop moving so much when it is time to have them. the baby should now be in the possition for birth which leaves it no room to move as much.dont worry as long as the heart rate is good and you are comfortable then let it happen. just watch out that you dont mistake the labor signs though. back pain that comes and goes can be labor just as well as belly pain. back laobor sucks but it is still labor. try walking and moving around to help bring it on. they already scraped you water bag so you know you are good to go when it is time so keep moving and it should help.

As long as the baby keeps his heart rate normal...than all is fine. At this point in pregnancy there is not much room for the baby to move around in there. With my second daughter, I hardly ever felt her move...and just for your information it was with her that I was three centimeters dialated from my 38th week and she was eight days late. She just ran out of room to move. Don't worry. I think that all is fine.
