I actually need to control(slow it down) bandwidth on one port on the back of my router so it doesn't hog it all

Well... by default, the router should run at the speed advertised on the box. If it doesn't then restore the settings by pressing the reset button.

Many times, however, the speed is not limited by your router by instead by Windows. You can set the speed to a faster speed by changing an option from Half-Duplex to Full-Duplex
