It varies, but see Iran, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia's response to homosexuality (it ranges from imprisonment to hanging on bogus charges). Quite gruesome.
Hopefully Muslims will be able to move past ancient hatreds.

Some muslims in muslim countries even cut off or castrate the penis in extreme cases. A good google read. Religion & Homosexuality. Or Islam & Homosexuality.

I'm not Muslim but my parents are, and my parents think that it's horrible whats happening in Iran right now, where all homosexuals are getting hanged. they don't think it's great to be a homosexual but they don't believe in looking down upon them so they never discriminate homosexuals.
