I like rice. It is a comfort food for me. Even if it does resemble maggots. . .but then many maggots and insect larvae ("worms" and "grubs") are edible. Kinda taste like shrimp. Woody tasting shrimp. Some have other flavors. Crickets aren't bad but could use a little garlic and butter to improve them. Cockroaches are singularly foul, however and no amount of wine vinegar and olive oil can help them out, no matter how popular they are at salad bars. I can't wait to try the new Cambodian delicacy, spiders, BTW. I think they serve them on skewers over rice.

Pretty much everyone in Hawaii eats rice! It's a staple. We put it with everything. Chili rice is my favorite, but loco moco is good too --
it's a big mass of sticky white rice covered with a cooked hamburger patty, gravy, and a fried egg! Mmmmm...ono!

Almost everybody would like rice. Who wouldn't. Despite this, diabetic patients are not permitted to eat rice or very little quantity.

I agree with you 100% they look like they have little eyes and they seem to move around on your plate, I think that I would starve to death before I would eat any rice

Rice is okay, but it needs flavor. I like it when it's heavily seasoned.

I love it...but mostly I just like wild rice...which isn't really rice.
