Their TV shows were both very good. It seems Bob Crane has faded out of sight. He is also old by now. Alan Alda has made some good movies. He also does a lot of narrating for documentaries.
I think I have to go with Alan Alda.

Alan Alda much more versitile than Bob Crane. Alda has been nominated for more awards for a variety of acting parts. All I know that Bob Crane did was Hogan's Heroes, the neighbor on the old Donna Reed Show and porn.

Alan Alda was great too, but I would consider him more a comedian.

Alan Alda is no doubt a good actor. I think he's better in comedic roles.
