no, good things come to those who **** other people out of opportunities so you can get ahead. Nothing good ever came to me unless I went and got it.

It's all about acceptance. Do you accept your inference is true? I don't I think it's a load of crap, honestly. If you wait for something to happen, anything that happens to you you will have to accept as good because otherwise nothing would have happened. I'm not too kind to accept conformity either. If I want something good, I go get it, find ways to get it, or do it myself. When I make it happen I know I got what is good for me woth the satisfaction that I made it happen myself. Like the cherry on my sundae. What you wait for may come too late. But I also believe in Karma and doing good thigs so you get good Karma in return. But sitting around expecting for it to come isn't enough for me.

I don't think any thing happens when you wait. If you want something good for your self you have to get up and do it. I mean, the dishes aren't going to wash them selfs and the laundry is just stacking up. You have to get up and take care of stuff your self. If you wait, you just get poor, lazy, fat, and old. What are you waiting for?

its true...example:
this always happens to me,
In traffic, you get some pompous degenerate who thinks he is the only one going somewhere!
So he weaves and zigs and zags, not making many friends.
He rides my tail then zips around me and cuts me off.
Its all good though!
I stay in my lane and smile as he gets stuck behind the bus.

The good thing that comes to Me while waiting in traffic is that I don't get a headache i don't get all bent and stressed AND I get to where I'm going on time and alive!

I like to think it's true, but realistically it's probably nothing but a load of crap.

It's one of those sayings that people use; and I guess it means that if you are patient, you will have success. What about "Fortune favors the bold". Then again, "fools rush in where angels fear to tread"; heck, it's darn confusing, isnt it?
