Why is it when a guy approaches a lady the first thought on the lady's mind is this guy wants to hit on her?

They do this even when one wants to ask directions, or is enquiring about something.
Even when you are not interested in them they still behave the same.
Why oh why?

Because, vastly more often than not, they do want to hit on her. A lot of guys do start out with asking for directions, or whatever, but quickly move on to "So what if you have a boyfriend/are married. He doesn't have to know."

It isn't ego, it isn't, even, judging you. It's just trying to avoid trying to be polite without encouraging the behaviour. And, yes, it is rude on our part. Still, many of us would rather risk being rude from the onset than have to deal with the morons who think that because we are talking to them at all we want to have sex with them.

We think it because most of the men who approach us treat us this way. We react poorly to protect ourselves.

Both the women who are treated thus and the men who do not treat women thus are the victims.

i'ld say it's true that most times a guy walks up to a random lady he has intentions..of what then would be a good question.They aren't necessarily of sex but it could be attraction for reasons even the guy might be unclear of..yet again he just might be looking for what he says he is,remember it's most times not all the time.

All guys want sex, and any female they look at, they think, I want sex with her, how do I arrange it?

So she has been around the block (learned about men) and she is wary of this fact.

If you don't look at her and don't want sex, you are either lying, or are a homosexual looking for a friend to hide your real feelings.
