I was 7 years old and this guy repaired the electricity in the family home. He was like a hero doing good things for every day people. But when I turned 16 I had a nightmare about being electrocuted while working with electrical wiring and that right there changed my wanting to be an electrician for life. To this day I respect electricity very much.

I was 17 yrs old when I decided that I wanted a career in the Air Force. I enlisted and was in for 4 years. I thought it would be a lifetime career. I was injured and got an honorable medical discharge. I loved the Air Force and wish I was still in. I was a Crew Chief on F-16 fighter planes.

When I was a child I wanted to be a nurse. But that changed when I turned 9 when my dad took my brother and I to his university, that I decided to become a business woman. I had this image of me running a firm, and wearing a knee-lengthed pencil skirt and a white short sleeved blouse. Throughout my teens, I wanted to become a fine artist, fashion designer then an interior designer.

I am now a graphic student. Huge contrast with the conserved business woman lol.

I decided when I had a psychology class in my last year of High School. The teacher played a lot of games on us and I was fascinated and wanted to do that for the rest of my life.
When I got discouraged I would go visit a therapist friend and my energy was renewed every time.

I decided when I was about 12, that I wanted to be a nurse, and I have been one, for years. Unfortunetly, 12 year olds dont comprehend low wages, shift work, and the dreadful physical toll that beinga nurse entails. Dont go into a career with stars in your eyes; thoroughly investigate it.

I'm 31, am not grown up, and still don't know what I want to do when I am a grown-up. I only know that it needs to be something I love.

I've also had a pretty remarkable life, thus far. I wouldn't trade even the worst of times. I wouldn't have this life without them.
