I like my personal space and my husband and I are total opposites (he's a cancer and I'm gemini--yes, I know there's more to it when entire charts are done. I have 3 planets in cancer, maybe that's why we're not a total astrological disaster). Know of a couple that has been happily married for 30 odd years living across the street from one another in berkeley? Has anyone tried this way of life? For me living w/ ANYONE is not my idea of fun. I prefer to maintain all our activities minus the boring parts of life (i.e., sharing common quarters like bathroom and kitchen space) and continue to dress up when going out as well as being spontaneous in ALL ways (as usual since I hate routine). How is playing house and seeing someone in the morning and evening a joyful thing to do for life? Just because I said "I do" didn't mean that I wanted to live w/ the person I love in a situation similar to being in a submarine. He's 39 and I'm 28 + we've been married for almost 7 years now.

Actually, I just read something about something similar. Apparently, many houses are being built now with two completely separate master-suites, for the very same reason. married, but plenty of space.

I don't think your idea is so far fetched.

Well just make sure he wants the same thing. In my case I would like the company even if we have nothing to say, but yes sometimes every one need some time alone. You both can have separate rooms or private studios as an alternative to the two house scenario. Just make sure everything is clear, he might misunderstand and think you just want to break up.

The living separate in a marriage is very unusual, but anything if possible. What's the purpose of getting married if this is the case, you may as well stay friends with special privileges, that way if you decided to take the vows, it would be more meaningful.

ur way of linking with zodic appears silly as we r also Cancer and Gemini(f) couple having fantastic life.
so just take a step back and try to sort the things out instead of blaming each other.
