"Junipers as a group will withstand hot, poor, dry soils and will probably do as well as any other evergreen in city areas. A few cultivars can be used in partial shade; however, dense shade causes plants to become thin and "leggy"."
"Requires little maintenance. Very tough plant. 'Blue Point' grows 8 feet or taller in a pyramidal form."
Care
"Fertilize with formulations that promote woody, strong growth rather than excessive foliar growth. Tends to be drought, salt, and pollution tolerant. Watering is generally not necessary except in severe drought conditions." Just take care not to fertilize at the end of the growing season, as that may cause too much tender green growth right before the cold hits, leaving your tree quite vulnerable.
Happy Arboring!

It is relatively low maintenance, like all Junipers.
Moderate water, not too clayey a soil, not much pruning and not to much shade-you should be fine.
