This is absolutely true. Mohammed had over 11 wives, but his favorite of all was little Aisha. She was 6 years old when he told Aisha's father (a 'friend' of his) that he was going to marry her. The shocking part is that according to Aisha and every authenticated source, she was 9 years old when Mohammed r@ped her. Sorry, you have to use the word r@pe because a 9 year old can't be considered a consenting age.
Whether or not she had started puberty is besides the point- she was 9 years old and he was over 50 years old.
Also, THIS HAS NEVER BEEN COMMON IN ANY CULTURE, AT ANY TIME, ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET.
In some cases, child marriages were common- but this was OTHER CHILDREN MARRYING OTHER CHILDREN. 14 year old boys being in an arranged marriage to a 12 year old girl may have been common.
Again, 50+ year old men forcing a small 9 year old child into intercourse has never been common.
However, Mohammed was a powerful warlord at the time. Who was going to send him to jail?

If a man has only one wife, his fortune maybe lacking.
If a man has many wives with many children, he is finally fulfilled.
Obviously you are not fulfilled.

As to your statement "this has never been common in any culture, at any time, anywhere on the planet" is childish and foolish. Is this statement to be applied before or after women cease to be property?
Aisha was the property of her father and then of her husband. This would be true for all her life.
Muhammad has other wives (Hiram) and Aisha would become part of that world.
It is clear that you have no understanding about non Roman marriage. Islam did not make up one man, many women relationship. You see in Genesis, however, it did not start in Genesis.
