They should be able to unless the baby is being a little shy. I had several ultrasounds throughout my pregnancy and never got to see my sons face because of the way he was laying. I did however get the greatest ultrasound pic of him flashing what looked like peace sign well either that or he was telling me to feck off lol. Relax, youll find out what it is soon enough, enjoy yourself.

:) If the baby cooperates and is in a good position. I had a 3 D ultrasound and I had to lay on my side to get the baby to move so I had a good enough view but the ultrasound tech had to wake her up. Then she moved a bunch. I'm having a girl. My friend couldn't tell until late in her pregnancy.

Absolutely not! You can carry to full-term without them being able to determine the sex of the baby. He/she may not face the right way during ultrasounds. Also common - the doctors told a friend of mine she was having a boy. Actually pointed out the penis on the ultrasounds. And she had a girl... It was the umbilical cord they were seeing. It had looped itself between the girls' legs.

5 months is a good time. They can see well into the uterus. When the baby gets bigger it's more sqiushed up and harder to see. It all depends on the babies position at the time of the ultrasound too. so if your baby is positioned in a way they can tell ,you lucky! mines they couldnt tell until i was 7months.

Depends on if your little one wants to open their legs and is in the right position. They accurately predicted I was having a boy at 12 weeks. Drinking OJ before the ultrasound helps with determining the sex because your little one is more active. Congratulations!

They can't always. The position of the baby really affects the visibility of the gender parts. However, the gentials are able to be seen via ultrasound.

often times how the newborn is sitting they could't tell. round 14-20 weeks the newborn nonetheless virtually looks a similar down there. often times they imagine it really is a woman because the little accessible have it really is knees up and performance undescended testicles, so that they don't see something spectacular in the u/s, frequently it really is harder to make a mistake with females because you are able to frequently see 3 little white strains down there on the experiment that aspect out it really is a woman. in simple terms because an ultrasound technician is experienced, does no longer advise they continuously get the sex proper, so more advantageous powerful off procuring unisex clothing or no longer taking the tags off your females or boys stuff in simple terms yet.

They usually can, it all depends on the position the baby is in. It can be a bit hard to tell if their legs are crossed.
