Pesonally I think it's polite, and to be honest, back in the day, girls who did kiss on the first date had the pleasure of a SECOND date.
The others, well. . no.
The first date is WORK, if I don't get a kiss for the effort then that evening stinks period.

Sometimes, it depends on the connection and the intensity with the person I' am having the date with, but usually I don't kiss on the first date because I like to leave them in suspense, mystery, and wanting more of my time.

Sometimes, it depends on how the date went and what the mood's like. If the date went really good but we didn't end up kissing and the guy didn't ever ask me out again I'd think he's a *** just looking for for some booty. Sometimes you gotta leave the guy wanting more.

Yes, if not then the whole sex thing is uncomfortable and just feels cheap... just kidding. I honestly don't remember... I think with my husband I kissed him on the cheek but I don't remember exactally.
