why sometimes indian fielding is poor?

That cos we don't have a lot of youngsters who can throw themselves in d field and plus at the domestic not enough importance is given to fielding.

1. Poor fitness regime - Stamina building/Agility/Running/Accuracy at stumps/catching - as a matter of fact its not just the fielding thats taking a beating but also the batting that has fallen apart... take the India-Bangladesh match for instance India 157/4... within a few minutes... India 159/9 4 wickets for just 2 runs!

2. Lack of quality fielders - Only one that comes to mind is the half fit Yuvraj singh... he would have to be superman to field all by himself

3. Field Placement/Bowling Strategy - This world cup has clearly shown how bad our field placements are and how well our bowlers bowl for the field

Although the above are important, It is also important we have younger players... time team india grew younger

Dear you are wrong somewhere

not many times Indian fielding is poor, but every time indian are failed in fielding as well as bowling.

They have to keep more practice on feilding as well as bowling rather then comes into Advertisements.

As in law of averages in batting, so the case with fielding.....However on a serious note, it is due to various off field distractions.

nobody has wish to be winner, do u know someone has said that, where is a will there is a way. like this nobody has will to be winner, therefore they r not playing well, otherwise Indian team may be the best team in this world.
