Pointed toe shoes are everywhere at every price range. They work well with almost every kind of outfit, pants, dresses, or skirts excepting very casual ones. Some pointy flats would even dress up casual clothes. Might want to try at least a half size larger for fit. They do elongate the leg and are very trendy. Ever watch TLC's What Not to Wear? Tracey and Clinton, the fashion experts, pair them with nearly everything except a swimsuit!

CAN be worn with pointy toe shoes:
jeans (boot leg, skinnies, straight, all kinds of jeans)
trousers
shorts
mini skirts
bermudas
capris
CAN NOT be worn with
long skirts (anything past the mid thigh length)
dresses (formal/casual/any kind of dresses)
but they def. go best with jeans or short shorts!
a good place to buy some good pairs are the shoe stores inside the malls, like wild pair or two lips, etc. Even DSW has really rockin shoes for a decent price. browse through their sale racks.

It cannot be worn with casuals.
