The union won't allow it but the Angels have to be very upset that they were paying for production that Matthews won't be able to keep up. He cheated plain and simple and the players should have their blood tested to make sure everything is on the up and up.

No - nothing has been proven - GMJr has never tested positive (that we know of) and if i am not mistaken his name was connected during a time period in which HGH (and steroids) was not illegal so therefore what he did was not illegal.
If GMJr tests positive for anything illegal than they should have the ability to void his contract or simply suspend him, take action against him in any way they feel they should.

I don't think you can suspend someone just for having his name connected to someone else. If they had a blood test come back that test positive, of course. But just because someone is implicated in something doesn't provide sufficient basis for punishment.

I this good old USA, you are innocent, until proven guilty. There are some players that have a much shadier past, that are still playing.
