If Iranians were more concerned about their own people walking down the streets of Iran, beating themselves with chains and shouting "Down With America" than the way fictitious Persians hundreds of years ago were depicted in a movie, we might have a better world to live in.

I agree with you, all that " it's not historically correct". It was based on a comic book, and its just a movie. I loved the movie and also hate anyone who complains about 300, that movie was bad @$$. It had tunes of fighting,babes, and so much freakin action.Any guy that didnt enjoy this movie go with your boyfriend to watch a chick flick.

it was a movie mostly based on historical facts besides the fact of course that Iranians did not look like that.
the 300 fought till death delaying and terrorizing Persians and as a result the next big battle of marathon (the one they prepare to give at the end of the film) was won and Greece managed to stay free as well as united.
it was a great movie Iranians shouldn't be bothered that much as the movie claims to be based on the comics that is why they are portrayed as monsters... we all know they are regular human beings!!!
efialtis who was the traitor and was in fact Greek looked like the golum but you didn't see any Greek complaining!!!
ps: i loved the movie..... "ouah!"!!

I enjoyed the movie not for its depiction of Persians but it's pro freedom when the plot is semi-fictional and not historical. It's a historical fantasy. End of.
