I am thinking about hiring a personal trainer so I can get myself in the best shape of my life. I've never really needed one before, but I'm 45 now and everything I do hurts as compared to how it used to feel, just five measly years ago. I want to get into shape again, but quite frankly, the amount of work I have to do myself scares the hell out of me.

Sorry, I'm long winded. What I want to know if YOU know is:

1) Generally, how did it help you?

2) I realize it will be hard work, but did it produce better results regarding your six pack stomach? (I've never really had a six pack. My body is more like that new James Bond guy. Muscular, but not cut with a six pack ribbed gut. I want one.

3) Did you feel as if it was worth the effort or do you think you would have been better off doing it yourselfr?

Thanks.
