Gordon is going to be this season's Ryan Zimmerman. He will be the rookie of the year in the AL.

I think Gordon will put up some solid numbers this season - maybe something along the lines of:

AVG - .285
HR - 25
Runs - 80
RBI - 90

I would have had some higher projections - but the fact that he is on the Royals hurts his numbers because of lack of production and protection in that lineup

Gordon probably will not go east with the club. He will probably start the year in AAA with Teahen firmly in place at third base.

He's a great sleeper pick. may end up going .300, 25, 100, or so. I doubt he will be THAT good, but he could be solid.

In other words, I would feel very uncomfortable if he were my starting 3b, but I would love to have him as a backup until he shows what he can do.
