We are staying 4 days and are on the dining plan. I have already made reservations for 3 of my table service meals and have one left. I can't decide between Concourse Steak House or Ohana's. The person I talked to when I made the reservation actually recommended Concourse.
The other meals I have booked are The Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends (son's choice) Ohana's for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch (daughter's choice) and Hollywood and Vine Fastasmic Experience. Are all of these good choices?

I think all of your choices are pretty good. Personally, LeCelliers is one of my favorites on property, but it can be hard to get a reservation, and like some of the other steak restaurants, can be more for adults than kids, but really is still pretty good for the whole family.

Crystal Palace is good, but it is a buffet, so the food isn't the best that you can find at Disney, but is still okay. I have always found the breakfast to be a little better than lunch or dinner.

O'hana's is great and the breakfast and lunch are very different, however, I'm not sure if you would want to experience the same restaurant twice over getting to experience two different options. There are just so many fun and tasty options that it is fun to get to experience something new each night.

For the fantasmic package, I prefer Mama Melrose's over Hollywood and Vine as well, but Brown Derby is probably my favorite.

For your kids, I think that Sci Fi, 50's Prime Time, Coral Reef, Beaches and Cream, etc. would all be a lot of fun for them.

Concourse is not one of my favorite choices, it is okay, but I think there are better, especially for steak. My choices for steak would probably be Yachtsman Steakhouse and then of course, LeCelliers.

There are so many great options at Disney, it is hard to narrow it down to four.

The only thing I would suggest is staying away from any character's breakfast for your last point, they are good and you save money, but you save a lot more and you get a much nicer meal as some of the non-character meals.

I'm going to include some links for you to look over as well. One will include menus, one will have reviews on all the restaurants, one will have a simple explanation of each restaurant and one will explain the dining plan a little better.

I hope this helps, if you want any other suggestions, please e-mail me.

If you are looking for a good steak go to Coral Reef in epcot. When we ate at Coral Reef the steak alone I ordered was 31.99 and so worth it. I believe it was the ny strip. One the finest steaks I have ever ate. It was served in wine sauce that was top noth gourmet cuisine. With crab claws for an appetizer this could have been one of the finest meals I have ever consumed!

Coral Reef is a 3 dollar sign $$$ restaurant. Concourse is only two $$ (all other $$$ restaurants are "signature dining" ) Coral Reef is not considered "signature dining", which require you to use two credits on your dining plan, according to disney. In fact the only in disney. Eating at concourse would mean you would only get 3 table service meals during your stay with the meal plan I think you are on .

In end my wife and I paid the 39.99 for the meal plan each. For that meal we would have paid more than 100.00. A real bargain and not to mention we also had a quick service meal that day ranging from 12.00 to 15.00 per person and also a snack for both of us. That day we really made good for the money!

Please dont miss out on this hidden gem it is in the living seas. The kids can ride nemo and friends and then you can enjoy a great and much deserved dinner.

Ohana's is excellent for breakfast. It's served "Family Style" and the character parade that your kids get to participate in is always a favorite.

However, for non-breakfast, I'd shy away from Ohana. I'd do the Concourse Steak House, or the Yachtsman Steak House over at the Yacht and Beach Club (which is very handy if you're visiting Epcot that day).

All those are good choices. I prefer Mama Melrose for the Fantsmic experience, I think the food is better, but it is up to your preference. You can check the menu at http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#epc

If you want a good steak I recommend the Yachtsman at Yacht Club resort (you can take a boat from MGM or the back of EPCOT) or Le Cellier in Canada of EPCOT. We ate at Concourse and did not like it. It was ok, but nothing I would rave about. We also enjoy 50s Prime Time, Coral Reef, Chef Mickeys (dinner has the best menu, best character meal on property. VERY fun, Mickey, Goofy, Chip, Dale, Daisy, Pluto, and sometimes Donald), Garden Grill (character Mickey, Chip, Dale, Pluto), and Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge (kids have stick horse races and there is a lot of fun going on, plus the food is yummy)

I have only eaten Ohanas for breakfast and it was very good, but if you only have one more sit down, I don't know enough to rate it. Sorry.

Hope this helps

have not dined at Ohana's on July 4th. Sorry won't be able to answer that, yet can say you'll benefit from the adventure. The food is robust yet we had a lengthy wait formerly being seated. We sat on the floor as we waited ~ there replaced into no position left. fortunate for us there replaced right into a musician interior sight that sang Hawaiian songs and saved us entertained. Do you've your eating Reservations made? it really is going to be a really busy day!!!. Plan to achieve early by way of accessible sluggish transferring site visitors (autos and monorails and busses) finished of people headed to the subject Parks. in case you'll Magic Kingdom a similar day you dine ~ enter even as the park opens. on the 4th MK (Or HS or Epcot) ought to close mid-morning by way of means crowds. if you're staying onsite ~ it extremely is not any ensure that you'll enter.

Le Celier @ Epcot for steaks is the best!!!!! We've done both Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose (Italian), however, of the two we always go back to Mama Melrose. That is also one of the restaurant options on the Fantasmic dinner package. Their food is excellent! Compared to Mama Melrose the food at Hollywood & Vine seems too bland. Of course that's just my humble opinion. Our young daughter also enjoys Mama Melrose over H&V. Have a great time!!!

Well since you will be at Ohana's for breakfast one day, you may want to visit the Concorse for a change of scenery. However Ohana's for dinner is a lot of fun and the food is amazing!
Also consider Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. It is my favorite WDW restuarant and I always recommend it! They have very creative items for adventurous eaters and American fare for kids and picky eaters.

I'm not sure if your kids will enjoy the steak house. ITS SUPER GOOD, but not really kid friendly, I know Disney is kid friendly but this is more a adult type restaurant. Ohanas Is REALLY yummy food, and more kid friendly, Plus if you go late enough and sit by the window you can see the castle light up at night ant maybe even catch the fire works!
