1) Every time it blacks out or I slide it down it locks up. Is there a way to permanently unlock it?
2) On my menu screen, I know there is a way that you can have a different background for each icon you highlight, but I can't figure out how! Please help! Any help or advice would be awesome!

1. sorry, but u cannot alter this locking feature. sure u can navigate through the phone while it is slid shut, but permanently changing it...no.
2. the only way you can change the backgrounds for the navigating menu is to change the phone's skin under phone settings. i believe that you can download new themes for your cell phone via samsung's funclub website.
